Junior soccer costs on the Gold Coast

Understand the potential costs of junior soccer on the Gold Coast, including registration, kit, travel, tournaments and extra coaching.

The short answer

Junior soccer costs vary substantially by club, age, competition level and optional travel. Parents should compare the total annual commitment: registration, governing-body fees, uniforms, equipment, tournaments, travel and any additional coaching. Ask for a written inclusions list before registering.

Costs beyond registration

A headline registration fee may not represent the complete season. Clarify what is included and which items are optional or charged later.

  • Playing and training kit
  • Boots and shin guards
  • Tournament entry
  • Travel and accommodation
  • Photos or presentation events
  • Additional academy sessions

Compare value, not only price

Consider session frequency, season length, coach quality, group size, communication and safeguarding. The cheapest and most expensive option can both be poor value if the environment is wrong for the child.

Avoid unverified figures

Fees change. FC Gold Coast will only publish another organisation's pricing when it can be sourced and dated, and parents should still verify it directly.
