Physical and emotional safety are non-negotiable at FC Gold Coast. Safe to play. Safe to learn. Safe to grow.
Emotional safety
Players must feel protected, respected and comfortable being themselves.
Physical safety
Age-appropriate sessions, safe venues, safe equipment, clear supervision.
Appropriate coaching behaviour
Humiliation, intimidation, discrimination and inappropriate behaviour have no place here.
Anti-bullying
Bullying is addressed directly and consistently, between players and adults.
Reporting concerns
Clear, accessible channels for parents, players, coaches and schools.
Parent communication
Families are informed proactively, not only when something goes wrong.
Media consent
Photography, video, social media, marketing and development video are separate permissions.
Coach screening
Coaches working with children must meet applicable Working With Children / Blue Card requirements.
Consent
We never assume consent
Parent accounts hold separate permissions for photography, video, social media, marketing and player development video. Children's information is never publicly exposed and we do not publish junior player rankings.
