The consent categories
- Internal player development video: recorded for coaching analysis and feedback only.
- Private FC Hub sharing: images or clips shared with your family inside your private account.
- Team or group communications: images shared within a specific squad or program group.
- Public website: images used on fcgoldcoast.com.
- Social media: images used on FC Gold Coast social channels.
- Promotional and marketing material: images used in advertising, print or campaign material.
How consent works
- Every category is opt-in and recorded separately in your family account.
- Consenting to one category does not consent to any other.
- You can change or withdraw consent at any time, and the change applies going forward.
- Withdrawing consent does not require us to recall material already printed or distributed, but we will stop future use and remove material we control where practical.
- Declining any media consent does not disadvantage your child in any way, including selection, groupings or coaching attention.
How we protect children in published material
- We do not publish a child's surname alongside location or schedule details.
- We do not publish contact details, school names or home suburbs with identifying images.
- We do not publish junior player ratings, rankings or comparative assessments.
- We avoid images that could embarrass a child or that are taken in change areas.
Personal devices and other families
Staff use FC Gold Coast processes for capturing images, not personal accounts. Parents taking photos at sessions should photograph their own child and must not publish images of other children without their guardian's consent.
Requests and contact
